Why design matters in government

London, UK
15-16 October 2020

Implementing user-centred design across your organisation means that no-one is left behind and ensures digital transformation builds social wellbeing and sustainable development.

Being user-driven implies stepping out of a supply driven approach, whereby governments interpret the needs of the users, and demand the creation of spaces and opportunities to listen to and engage with users, to understand and, when possible, anticipate needs. The digital age provides a wealth of opportunities to improve service-oriented policies.

The E-Leaders 2020 Meeting in London will provide an opportunity to share best practice, tackle common obstacles, and ensure services are designed with intent. The discussions scheduled to take place at the meeting will assist in improving digital government for citizens around the globe.
